One way avoid the muddy mess that wet weather and pedestrians create is to use Connect-A-Dock walkways from Schafer Systems. The walkways can be formed into a variety of shapes and lengths using durable polyethylene Connect-A-Dock sections. The modular sections can be attached easily to one another using the company's connectors and a 1/2" socket wrench. The walkways endure heavy foot traffic and can even withstand the weight of light-duty vehicles such as golf carts and ATV's. The sections have a slip-resistant simulated wood grain surface and are easily cleaned using only soap and water.
